I am the granddaughter do Paul Marino, past owner of Marino Jewelry co. In Pawtucket RI. My grandfather designed and manufactured at that location from 1932 - 1957 when the building was razed to make way for Interstate 95. He continued to design and make jewelry in his home until his death in 1978. He was a graduate of the RI School of design where he also taught. He was an extremely talented designer.

My family, relatives and friends have jewelry that was made by him. I can absolutely attest to the fact that his jewelry was stamped MARINO in block capital letters. Letterheads, cards on which the jewelry was displayed was written Marino in script, as was other promotional items.

In 1957 a family member began Marino Manufacturing Co in Providence, RI. This was done without my grandfathers permission or blessing.

We recognize a lot of my grandfathers jewelry for sale, and it has the definitive MARINO in block letters stamped on it.

Thanks,
Hoping to hear comments
