You're right, Jennie -- "What goes around, comes around" when it comes to fashion! Many of today's designers are borrowing from vintage styles, which goes to show that much costume jewelry is classic.

The company 1928 does make some nice jewelry. They started in 1968, and I believe they are still making jewelry. And of course had you purchased some of their jewelry back in the 80's they would now be vintage.

Who knows what we collect today might be worth in the future! ;)

You might find vintage costume jewelry making a comeback under a designer label. If you check out magazines, such as Elle or Vogue, you will find designers designing and adding such jewelry into their collection.

In the department stores back in the 1980's, a company called 1928 was making vintage-like costume jewelry. I had a few of their pieces that caught my eye. I also purchased stuff made by Monet, but it had a more classic than vintage look to their pieces.
